Summer News!!!

We want our students to come to practice whenever they are in town during the summer! During the June, July, and August 4-week Sessions, you may pro-rate up to 2 weeks for family vacation. Just let the receptionist know when you are making your payment for that month and she will figure the amount for you.

Desert Lights Parking

Handicapped parking. Please do not park in our handicapped parking unless you are, in fact, handicapped. Some of our families need it and find it full each time with cars not displaying the proper decals.

Open Gym

Open Gym continues each Saturday from 12:00pm to 2:00pm during the summer. This is a great place for gymnasts to practice their gymnastics skills and have fun out of the summer sun. The cost is only $5.00 for 2 hours of supervised fun on all of our great gymnastics equipment, trampolines and pits.

All friends that are not Desert Lights gymnasts must have parent fill out waiver in order to participate. Please click on link to download the waiver.

June Back Handspring Clinics

June Back Handspring/Tumbling Clinic and Bring a Friend to Open Gym will be on June 23. Friends of Desert Lights gymnasts may attend Open Gym and stay for the Tumbling Clinic afterwards. The cost is only $5.00 for Open Gym and $10.00 for the Tumbling Clinic. Gymnasts learning their back handsprings, back tucks, or aerials for the first time will receive special prizes!!

EVALUATIONS

Evaluations have just finished and test sheets should have all been handed back. If your gymnast was only missing one or two skills, she may move up whenever she becomes ready and does not have to wait for the next testing.
