Desert Lights will be closed on Thursday, November 22 for Thanksgiving. Thursday class students may schedule their make-up through the front desk.

Desert Lights will be closed from December 23 through January 6 for Winter break. The January Session begins on Monday, January 7. You still have 4 weeks of classes in both the December and January Sessions.

November Back Handspring and Tumbling Clinic and "Bring a Friend to Open Gym" will be held on Saturday, November 24. Open Gym goes from 12:00 to 2:00 PM followed by the Tumbling Clinic from 2:30 to 3:30 PM. Drop the kids off while you holiday shop! See the front desk or your instructor for details.

Open Gym continues each Saturday from 12:00 to 2:00 PM. This is the place to perfect your skills for evaluations and to learn new ones. The cost is only $5.00 for 2 hours of supervised gymnastics and fun!!

Gym-wide Evaluations will be conducted from November 26 to December 8. Students that are in class during these dates will receive a written evaluation of their skills so they will know exactly what they need to move up.

The Candy Cane Clasic will be held on Saturday, December 15. This is our Annual competition open to all Desert Lights students, Level 1 and above. Students learn routines on each apparatus for their level and perform them at the competition. All competitors receive ribbons, a medal and a special gift created just for the competition. The emphasis is on performance and fun rather than competition. Entry forms will go out the second week of November.
