The Halloween SPOOKTACULAR Party and Sleepover will be on Saturday, November 1. Extend your Halloween fun for one more day! The party includes games, a costume contest, dinner, breakfast and lots of frightening fun! Open to all Desert Lights students and their friends, ages 8 and up for the sleepover, and 6-8 years old until 10:30 for the party. Registration forms are going out now!!

October Tumbling and Back Handspring Clinic and Bring a Friend to Open Gym will be on October 18. DLG students may invite their friends to Open Gym with a signed waiver-Open Gym fee is only $5! The Tumbling Clinic follows from 2:30 to 3:30 PM for only $10! The focus will be on front and back handsprings, round-offs, aerials, back tucks, layouts, etc.-appropriate to each gymnasts level.

During Fall Break, Desert Lights does not close for any fall breaks. We have students from many different areas and school districts, so all of our students do not have the same breaks. If you are in town, please bring your gymnast to class. If not, please schedule your make-up through the front desk.

TOPS NATIONAL QUALIFIERS

DESERT LIGHTS, ONCE AGAIN, HAS QUALIFIED A RECORD NUMBER OF GYMNASTS TO THE TOPS NATIONAL TESTING AT KAROLYI'S RANCH. THESE GYMNASTS ARE AMONG THE TOP 100 GYMNASTS IN THE COUNTRY IN THEIR AGE GROUP.

Gym-wide Evaluations will be conducted on November 10-22 during your gymnasts classes. Each gymnast will receive a written evaluation of their skills so that they will know exactly what they need to move to the next level. Please make sure your gymnast is in class since make-up evaluations are not possible.
