Desert Lights has many fun activities planned for our students in October - Halloween Sleep-Over, Halloween Open Gym, Tumbling Clinic, Bring a Friend to Open Gym, and some great competitions for our level 4,5 & 6 Team athletes. Read on for details!!

Our annual Halloween Spooktacular Sleepover will be on Saturday October 20 from 6:30 PM until 8:00 AM on October 21. Dinner and breakfast are included, as well as games, contests, prizes and movies supervised by our experienced party staff!! The price is $50 but the first 10 gymnasts registered and paid will only be $40. Gymnasts not wanting to spend the night can stay until 10:30 for $30. Entry forms will go out this week. Sign up early--space is limited.

The October Tumbling and Back Handspring Clinic will be on Saturday October 20 from 2:30 until 3:30 PM. The fee is only $10 and students can bring friends! sign up at the front desk.

October "Bring a Friend to Open Gym" is also on Saturday October 20. Students may bring friends not enrolled at Desert Lights with a signed waiver form. The fee is only $5 for 2 hours of supervised gymnastics and fun.

Halloween Open Gym will be on Saturday October 27. Gymnasts may wear gymnastics-friendly costumes and the instructors will have "Treats for their Tricks"!!! Friends may also attend this event with a signed waiver.

Desert Lights will close at 5:30 on Wednesday October 31 so that our students may take part in Halloween activities. Students with 5:30 or 6:30 classes on that day may schedule their make-up at the front desk.

New Student?? Getting prepared for class at Desert Lights is easy. Wear a comfortable leotard, with or without athletic shorts. Hair should be securely off the face and neck. Leave all jewelry and valuables at home. Sit in the white box by the exercise bikes until instructors call the classes out to warm up - no need to check in at the front desk unless you are doing a make-up or this is your first day - your instructor will take attendance. Parents and siblings should procees to the upstairs viewing area and be seated to observe class.
